On the island of Skata which lies between Sauøya and Henningsvær is our Restaurant SKATA. Only 900 meters from the city center, we offer good food experiences based on local ingredients and local food traditions.
The restaurant was rebuilt in the premises of the old fishfarm Skata and is located in the “cutting shed” Sløyeskuret, where the cod was taken straight from the boats into the factory.
Here we have dining capacity up to 120 people, a separate room for private dinners and a lounge library where you can relax with good drinks before or after dinner.
On our pier we have our outdoor seating and you can enjoy good summer dishes with cold drinks among good friends.
What is unique is that the North Wind does not hit you on your shoulders when you sit and enjoy a long summer day at the pier in Restaurant Skata.
On the ground floor of Henningsvær Vertshus you will find Lofoten Arctic's Café. Here you can stop by for a hot coffee, enjoy good pastries and cakes.
We also offer a selection of good lunch dishes made with local products and local food traditions, and preferably from raw materials just outside the door. THE CHAMPAGNE GIRLS
On the ground floor of Henningsvær Vertshus there is a small place called the Champagne Girls, painted in pink with pink furniture, is this a place that you do not expect to find in a fishing village in the North. Our catering concept offers everything from picnic on the mountain to five-course dinner. We can deliver to all events, ranging from picnics in the Lofoten nature to festive occasions.
Our cooks provide hot and cold food for all occasions, to private as well as to businesses, teams and associations. The focus is on quality, punctual delivery, food enjoyment and, not least, we are very excited about local produce and food traditions from Lofoten.
We produce most of the food from scratch, and we can guarantee the use of fresh ingredients. We have skilled chefs with long experience, which gives us the opportunity to tailor made menus with distinctive character to each individual order.
With us, the menu is not a limitation and we gladly deliver something that you want, and if there is any traditional food with local products, we will be extra motivated.
The goal is to stimulate your senses and experience of good food made with care. You should feel safe as a host or hostess when you choose us as your catering provider.
